Zach Nielsen AP Lit Comp Ms. Wilson 10/7/12 Cain and Abel Biblical degree The yarn of Cain and Abel is run aground in Genesis chapter four. Cain and Abel be sons of Adam and Eve. Cain was the older of the dickens and made his life till and farming in Eden. Abel was the jr. crony and was a sheppard. nonsuch asked the two boys for sacrifices for him to prove their dedication to perfection. Abel would father his take up sheep and divinity fudge loved and respected him for it. Cain would down his best and more or less issueful crops. God was unhappy and didnt accept the sacrifices. This went on for a while until God asked Cain, why dont you down me something more suit subject? why cant you bring things like your comrade? He got tired of this and kil take his buddy Cain. God asked him where Abel was and Cain said he killed him. God banished him from Eden bulge to a place where he couldnt farm anymore. The offset of conflict in this biblical recital is b etween Cain and Gods expectations. No matter what Cain climbs in his farm or raises food he cant ever spend a penny Gods respect, he keeps getting rejected. His overwhelming defeat with the conflict in the story led him to kill his brother Abel.

The themes in this story are the reply to jealousy. Cain was jealous that his brother Abel was getting all of the love for his sheep. Cain neer was able to grow profound enough vegetables or fruit able to receive Gods respect. I study it shows a good way not to handle jealousy.
